Itinerary

Phnom Penh – Chau Doc – Cruise on Mekong River – Saigon – City tour – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi – Saigon

Day 1: PHNOM PENH - CHAU DOC

We pick you up at your hotel in Phnom Penh around 11:30-12:00.

You take the boat leaving at 12:30 from Phnom Penh to Chau Doc. Arrive in Chau Doc at about 17:30. Seeking and transfer to the hotel in Chau Doc. Dinner at your expense and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2: CHAU DOC - CAN THO - TRA ON (B, L, D)

8:00 A.M: Welcome you at the hotel in Chau Doc and transfer to the pier in Can Tho.

10:30 A.M: On arrival at Can Tho (address: An Binh Hotel, Lo Vong Cung, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City), boarding of a local boat to see the floating market of Cai Rang , one of the most typical markets of the aquatic area.

The ship seal of Cochin to 12pm, reception with a welcome cocktail.

Lunch on board while our boat navigates Traon.

In the afternoon you will go for a nice walk, on foot or by bicycle on trails lined with greenery. A few planned stops allow you to actually experience the life of local people, orchards or green rice fields.

Back to the boat for rest and relaxation at dusk on the Co Chien River, with a glass of cocktail and a foot massage on the upper deck.

Dinner and overnight on board, near Cai Be.

DAY 3: TRA ON - CAI BE - SAIGON - CITY TOUR (B)

Breakfast on board. Continuing our cruise to Cai Be. Upon arrival, sampan ride to explore the colorful, vibrant floating market of Cai Be.

Followed by a walk in the heart of the lush vegetation to visit the villages and discover the local crafts: rice wine factories, sweets made of Coco, puffed rice or rice paper.

Visit a sumptuous traditional, former imperial residence, where you will discover the sublime and browse inside the garden that is filled with fruit trees. Tea is ready to serve you, along with a tasty sample tropical fruits.

Ride through the arroyos around Cai Be.

Landing about 11:00 in the morning to Cai Be (Address:. Travel Cooperative 2/9 - Ms. Lan pier (From Highway 1, you go about 4km (not cross the Cai Be bridge), turn right and then go about 200m).

Return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the afternoon, visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 30, 1975, when soldiers North made a brutal intrusion with their tanks, symbolizing the end of the war against the United States, and finally Ben Thanh market where you can shop and enjoy many delicious dishes of the Vietnamese.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Saigon.

DAY 4: SAIGON - TAY NINH - CU CHI - SAIGON (B)

8:00 in the morning: Departure to visit Cu Chi, Tay Ninh. You have the chance to discover the Cao Dai temple, the unique architectural ensemble and know Caodaism, a religion own local inhabitants and participate prayer ceremony at noon.

Afternoon, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. This system of tunnels built underground, stretching over 200 km and consists of 3 levels deep, played a key role in the 60 because it served as a secret base in Viet Cong. The exploration of this impressive complex will give you a unique experience and you will realize the most difficult conditions of life of Vietnamese soldiers during the war. Note that some entries tunnels have been widened for visitors.
