Cooking class: Vegan grilled in betel leaves

Ingredients:

  • White firm tofu
  • Dried black fungus mushrooms
  • Shitake mushroom
  • Tofu skin
  • Betel leaves
  • Leeks
  • Cooking oil, salt, pepper.

 

Practices:

Step 1: Wash betel leaves. Set aside. Soak dried black fungus mushrooms and shitake mushrooms in boiling water for 2-3 minutes then dried. Chop finely. Chop leeks finely.

Steps 2: Making mixture: grind white firm tofu finely, season with salt and then add black fungus mushrooms, shitake mushroom, white firm tofu and finely chopped leeks.

Step 3: Place a betel leaf and spoon about 1 tablespoon of the mixture filling at the base of betel leaf. Roll the wrapper one towards the top corner of the leaf. Brush some oil before having them grilled pan.

Presentation:

It can be more delicious if serve with tomato sauce or soy sauce.
